San Francisco

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend, I know I sure did! Over the weekend we went to a wedding in Phoenix and it was absolutely beautiful. The ceremony, venue, and every detail was absolutely stunning. Funny story about the wedding. I ordered two dresses from Nordstrom about a month ago to make sure I had the perfect outfit to wear for the wedding. The first dress I wanted to wear wouldn’t even zip up when it wasn’t on so I decided to take dress option number two with me to the wedding. I figured I didn’t need a backup dress since I loved this dress so much. Long story short, my boyfriend was helping me zip up the dress around 4:30, the wedding started at 5:00 and the zipper broke and completely came off of the track. I didn’t have a backup dress and we ended up having to go to the closest Nordstrom to find a new one. Anyways, the ladies at Nordstrom Chandler Fashion Center were absolutely amazing and helped me find such a cute dress and I got so many compliments on it! We were only 15 minutes late to the wedding and no one even noticed (at least I don’t think they did). I think I was meant to wear the last minute dress instead and I’m learning to laugh off silly situations like those instead of getting mad about it! My blog post has nothing to do with that story, I just thought I would share it since it was funny (not at the time, of course), but it is now!

Anyways, I went to San Francisco a couple of weeks ago with 14 of my closest girlfriends and we had such a fun time! Today I will be sharing the highlights of our trip and sharing must do/see places in San Francisco. We stayed at an AirBnb in Nob Hill and the house was amazing! All 15 of us slept comfortably in the house and it was in such a great location. We all got there throughout the day on Thursday night and went to a casual dinner while we waited for the rest of the group to get there. On Friday morning, we woke up and went to brunch (of course), ventured through the city, went to the cutest wine tasting bar called Winery Collective, which I highly recommend, and went to a yummy dinner.

On Saturday, we rented GoCars, which is a GPS guided tour through the city and it was so much fun! The GoCars were definitely the highlight of my trip and I recommend doing the tour if you are ever in San Francisco. We saw all of the highlights of the city, stopped along the way to take pictures, and enjoyed the beautiful day with the wind blowing in our faces. We also went to Fisherman’s Wharf for clam chowder bread bowls and they were out of this world, so delicious. Another highlight of my trip was going to Ghiradelli Square for the BEST latte ever and complimentary squares of chocolate. The square is so cute and has little boutiques to shop at. Despite the huge rain storm, we made the most out of our outdoor adventures and saw everything there was to see.
