Happy Thursday!
It is almost the weekend and we are quickly approaching Thanksgiving week! I absolutely love Thanksgiving because I always look forward to seeing family and all of the food. Green bean casserole and mashed potatoes are my favorite side dishes, and of course I put cranberry sauce on everything. I also love pumpkin pie and crave my mom’s homemade pumpkin pie every year. We are going to my house this weekend for an early Thanksgiving and can’t wait to eat all of my mom’s delicious dishes! We are then going to Charlie’s family’s house for actual Thanksgiving in Los Angeles. We spent Thanksgiving there last year and look forward to doing it again this year! Spoiler alert: this is what I’ll be wearing for Thanksgiving this year. I bought this dress months ago and have been saving it for Thanksgiving Day. If you are a pro Thanksgiving eater (like myself), you know not to wear tight pants, skirts, etc. on Thanksgiving Day to avoid looking bloated and feeling like the button on your pants is going to explode! Wearing a flowy, but cute dress is always my go-to Thanksgiving Day look. To add to the fall look, I paired high socks with riding boots, and a fur vest. I also threw on darker lipstick and there you have it, an easy Thanksgiving look!

The second outfit is a lot more casual and can be worn to a holiday party or just a day of shopping for holiday gifts. I call this look the groutfit reinvented, haha! If you don’t know what a groutfit is, it’s when you wear a gray shirt or sweatshirt with gray pants. I honestly love pairing gray together, especially with hints of black. This rouched dress is SO comfy and can be worn so many different ways! I also got this vest last year and I always look forward to fall and winter so I can wear it again. I found this exact one for under $50, such a great deal! If you live somewhere where it’s still in the sixties and seventies like it has been here, wearing open toed booties are the way to go. These lace ups are very comfy and match everything in my closet.

Finally, the ultimate holiday look. The colors red and green just scream Christmas, which is why I love pairing them together. If you do pair them together, I suggest using maroon and dark green because bright red and bright green clash. This dress is also very comfy and is great for Christmas dinner or Christmas Eve because it gives you room to digest without pushing on your stomach. This scarf is my favorite holiday scarf from ilymix. This blanket scarf can also be worn as a poncho and is reversible with a gray and black side. I paired this look with cognac booties, which are perfect for the holidays.
